Safety Third started as an idea between three students, which quickly morphed into a complete FIRST Tech Challenge team. Safety Third's rookie year was 2025-26, where we participated in FIRST Tech Challenge: Decode, where our team was able to qualify for state during the season. Safety Third's success has led to a greater degree of STEM interest within the Maryvale community.
